Detroit Zoo - Wild Winter Weekends

Looking for some fun this weekend? The Detroit Zoological Society has got you covered. Come check out the March edition of Wild Winter Weekends being held this Saturday and Sunday at the Detroit Zoo.

The Wild Winter Safari Social will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both March 9 and 10. Special activities, free with the cost of regular admission, will include zookeeper talks, animal arts and crafts, face painting, animal enrichment activities and a winter safari scavenger hunt.

Remember the Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. November through March, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April through Labor Day and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the day after Labor Day through October. Admission is $14 for adults 15 to 61, $12 for senior citizens 62 and older, and $9 for children 2 to 14 (children under 2 are free).
