Holiday window shopping hasn’t been the same in Detroit since the Hudson’s flagship store closed over 25 years ago. Well, that’s all about to change as the Somerset Collection retailers transform several windows along Woodward in what has been dubbed ‘Once Upon a Holiday.’
Holiday shoppers and downtown pedestrians will be delighted to see that both sides of Woodward between Grand River and Witherell will have their window displays transformed by such retailers as GAP, Pottery Barn, 7 For All Mankind, Sephora, Eddie Bauer, Kiehl’s, Willmas-Sonoma and more.
The Sommerset Collection and Bedrock Real Estate are are asking for the public’s help to identify the best window display. The voting period has already begun and will end on Friday, December 20. The displays are part of Holiday DLight: Made in Detroit and all visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite display by clicking here.
The winning display will be crowned on Monday, December 23 and the first 1,000 people to vote will receive a voucher for a free cupcake from Just Baked.
